Broad Street Presbyterian Church

Columbus, Ohio

CSS staff photo

To conserve the large American Opalescent windows containing a total of sixty-two panels, created by stained glass master, Louis C. Tiffany Studios. The window themes include the Resurrection, Angel of Hope, Angel of Victory, St. John and Christ Blessing the Little Children.

For Broad Street Presbyterian Church in Columbus, Ohio, CSS meticulously conserved and re-leaded the century-old windows to protect them. The windows were dismounted, disassembled, cleaned, restored, and reinstalled with colors and details released from a century of soot. The project was part of a comprehensive effort to restore and update the church's facilities and to increase the space for outreach missions.
