Conrad Schmitt Studios restored the scagliola columns at the Cathedral of St. Helena in Helena, Montana. The interior required significant restoration work to repair damage sustained when the Montana Rail Link train crash of February 1989 rocked the city. In 1999-2000 repairs to this Catholic church interior’s columns was completed by Conrad Schmitt Studios, along with cleaning and regilding of the marble stations of the cross and the gilding of 30 upper capitals
