Mary Mother of the Eucharist Chapel

Rochester, Minnesota

Recognizing the need for a centralized worship space in the expansive diocese of Winona-Rochester, Bishop Robert Barron launched plans to build a new pastoral center. With the desire for a robust decorative scheme, bold colors and intricate stencils were designed by McNicholas Architects, and incorporated into the design. The Chapel decoration includes faux Rojo Alicante marble which mimics the marble in the nearby Mayo Clinic, whose patients and employees worship in the new space.
