White House Visitor Center

Washington, District of Columbia

The White House Visitor Center in Washington D.C. is located in the north end of the Herbert C. Hoover Building (the Department of Commerce headquarters) in our country’s capital and serves as a starting point for those going on a reserved tour of the White House. The restoration included extensive decorative painting and glazing on the interior surfaces and the vast, ornamental ceiling. Intricate stencil work and glazing embellish the colonnade and the many adjoining arches throughout the expansive interior, restoring the space’s aesthetic and historical integrity.
